Eleaf is one of the most known vaping manufacturers and is also one of the oldest, famous for their iStick series. Eleaf products tend to be known as a budget kit but their performance and durability are of a very high standard.
New to the Jumponthevape online vape deals, we have the Eleaf iStick Power 2C mod. This is a different version of the Eleaf iStick Power 2, and there are a fair few differences between these two devices. Both the 'Power 2C' and the 'Power 2' have the same design looks and the build quality are the same, it's primarily the battery which is the biggest difference. Both the devices come in vibrant colours, and when it is about to build in quality, it is top-notch.
The 'Power 2C' uses 2 x 18650 batteries whereas the 'Power 2' had a 5000mAh internal battery, the output is also different between these two Eleaf versions. The 'Power 2' has a 1-80W variable wattage output and the 'Power 2C' has an incredible 1-160W variable output. The 'Power 2C' does have the same USB Type C port which means you can charge your batteries up but as the device uses 118650 batteries, you can still remove these and charge in an external vape battery charger, this was not something you could do with the Eleaf iStick Power 2 mod.

Appearance & Design
The Eleaf iStick Power 2c is a box mod style device, with some smooth curves on it's zinc alloy body which is mostly covered with a sleek and smart looking stitched leather. I love the overall look to it as it looks modern and has a sophisticated feel to it. It isn't the lightest of mods and it's also not one of the heavier one, I thought the weight balance is right with the device. It has a nice feel to it and found it fit nicely within my hand.
Durability
We can see that the device looks sophisticated but Eleaf has not sacrificed it's durability. Even in your hands you can feel that the mod has a good build quality, with Eleaf you can be sure that your device will be able to withstand the rigours of everyday life. This doesn't mean that you should purposely mistreat your device. With all vape devices you should follow the safety guidelines which are stated in each device's manual.
Batteries and Charging
The Eleaf iStick Power 2C Vape Mod is a dual battery device that requires 2 x 18650 batteries. The batteries are inserted into the device from underneath the base of the device, the battery door sits firmly in place which means that unlike some other devices, you won't get any rattling from your batteries.
As this is a dual battery device, we know that it will hold charge for a decent amount of time and would likely last you for the whole day, though this does depend on your vaping settings, how high you have the device and how often you use it. Though we would recommend charging your batteries in an external charger you can however charge the batteries from the device using the USB type C charger, the device also has fast charging capabilities which means you'll spend less time waiting for it to be ready to use.

Screen Display
The iStick Power 2C is built with a 0.96 inch colour TFT screen which has a good layout where all the vital information can be seen easily. The appearance can be changed as there is a choice of four different colours on the screen display, blue, green, purple and red. To enter the settings control panel on the device you just simply press both the left and right button under the screen. Here you will be able to change the colour, reset your puffs and adjust your mode. You have a choice between wattage mod, power and also the smart mode.
The screen also displays the battery status for each one, labelled A & B. You can also see whether your device has been locked. We always recommend to lock your device when it is not in use, this will prevent accidentally firing your device when in your pocket or bag.
The display will show the amount of puffs recorded on the device, the wattage and also the registered ohms that your tank, RTA or RDA has.
Connector
Eleaf iStick Power 2C Vape Mod comes with a 510 connector which allows you to add either a tank RTA or RDA, though due to the devices dimensions it means that you would need an atomiser which has a maximum diameter of 25mm, this would mean there is no overhang. So before purchasing remember to check your atomiser, or if you are looking for a new one, be sure to check the specifications.
Final Thoughts
Being a fan of previous Eleaf products, I had faith that the iStick Power 2C would also be a great piece of vaping hardware. I like the size of the device as it fit nicely in my hand and was comfortable. I prefer a device with a bit of weight behind it and you can feel the quality of it.
The device is easy to use, there's not a lot to the features which means usability is great for anyone. The one downfall in my eyes is the width of the device and that some of my atomisers didn't fit without having an overhang on them. Provided you find an atomiser that has a diameter of 25mm or less, then you'll be fine.
