The disposable vape market has had a comeback within the past two years and there's no signs of it stopping any time soon. Many Vaping companies are on a mission to produce the best disposable vape, this results in giving us plenty of devices to choose from. They come in all shapes and sizes and one of the things I love most about disposables is how amazing they taste; flavours are more concentrated, and they taste amazing. Due to the flavours tasting more prominent, this enables smokers to enjoy the full taste.

Disposables are a quick and easy product to help you transition away from smoking cigarettes, they require no general maintenance, no refilling or charging. It's difficult enough trying to quit smoking so why wouldn't you want to find a safer substitute with no hassle?
The Rise of the Disposable Vape
The disposable vape device market continues to grow, and we are seeing more varieties more often, as well as improved functionality. The devices ease to use and great selection of flavours makes them desirable with the vaping community, but disposable vapes have moved into a new era and we never used to be spoiled with choices.
One of the first disposable vapes was created back in 2004 by a Chinese Pharmacist Hon Lik. The idea was to replicate the shape of a traditional cigarette and create a safer smoking cessation without all the dangerous chemicals. As you can see, the device mimics a cigarette, and they were referred to as 'stick pens' or 'cig a likes'. The performance of these were nothing like the devices we have today and were from personal experience all those years back, I know they weren’t very successful and for me they weren’t able to help me quit smoking.
Shortly after the release of the first disposables, new devices started being designed and it led to new technology being used to create mods, tanks and other vaping hardware. Disposables still existed but they were no way near as popular as other vaping options.
If we jump to 2021, the disposables are back, and they’ve had a lot of work done to them. Disposables are dominating the vaping market with nearly every major E Liquid brand owning their own version. The Global Disposable Market size was valued at £5.2 Billion in 2021 and it is expected to keep growing.
One of the problems facing the Disposable market is the increase in counterfeit products being produced. Counterfeit products are very difficult to identify sometimes and there is always a risk when using them. Products manufactured by reputable E Liquid companies are regulated and tested by Labs to ensure that they are safe and TPD Compliant. With counterfeit products, we have no idea how they were created and what ingredients were used, which is why it is always best to buy your disposables from trusted companies.

Doozy Nix Disposable Vape
I’m a big fan of the delicious fruity flavours that come from Doozy Nix and being able to enjoy the full flavour in disposable form is great. The Box looks great, and I like the artwork on it, the metallic finish makes it stand out.
The Doozy Nix comes in 10 different flavours, and they all have 20mg of Nic Salt. Each device should have at least 600 puffs and I found that it performed well and although I wasn’t counting, I believe it lasted long enough. The vapour production is good and most importantly, it’s full of flavour and one of my favourites is the Lime Cola.
The one thing I didn’t like about the Doozy Nix though is the size. For a disposable vape it is very big. The shape does still feel comfortable in your hand and the mouthpiece is tapered for your lip to sit on but in my opinion, it’s far too big. This matters to me because I like having a small disposable that fits inside my pocket which normally has either my phone or wallet in it.

Dinner Lady Disposable Vape
Dinner Lady is one of the most famous E Liquid brands in the vaping market and they are known for their exquisite dessert vape juices with Lemon Tart being the most popular. They are an award-winning premium quality e-liquid brand that has been serving us since 2016.
The Dinner lady disposable won my heart initially when I first saw it, the packaging for it fits perfectly with their iconic Dinner Lady design. The device itself is also beautiful. This is the smallest Disposable in this selection and is one of my favourites. Lots of disposables have a cylindrical body but this is what I would describe as a proper “cig a like”. This disposable has a stainless-steel casing which is the same width as a cigarette and the length of a super-king cigarette.
There are 13 flavours to choose from in the range and of course there are some of their classic flavours within, I was surprised to see a tobacco option as this doesn’t tend to appear that often in disposables. My favourite from the range would have to be Lemon Tart and Strawberry Macaroon. The vapour production isn’t as much as other disposables, but I like that it’s meant to be more of a discreet vape kit.
Most disposables are normally around 600 puffs, but this smaller device is only 400, I knew it wouldn’t last as long as the others, but I feel like it still ended a little too early. I did find that even when it ran out, you could still get a couple of puffs out of it an hour or so later and there was still flavour.

Pacha Mama Disposable Vape
Pacha Mama is a brand from the makers of Charlies Chalk Dust and they were the first brand of E Liquid I ever tried. Pacha Mama has great branding and design, I previously mentioned in the Pacha Mama Disposable review how the inspiration came from the Inca Civilisation, Pacha Mama is a goddess revered by the indigenous peoples of the Andes. In Inca mythology she is an "Earth Mother '' type goddess, this explains why Pacha Mama is fruit-based E Liquids.
The device is a rectangular one which has the same rubbery matte finish that is often found on other disposables. I've said it before in other reviews, but I really like the feel of them. On one side of the vape there is their Logo and Inca inspired design, on the other side it states what flavour the device is.
I’ve taken a big liking to the Fuji Apple Ice; it has a super fresh crisp taste to it and I like the natural sourness of the apple. The vapour production is really good, and the flavours taste great. I would have preferred if they had stuck to their original flavours as in the disposable range you’ll find typical disposable flavours like Pink Lemonade, Mango Ice and Watermelon Ice. These do use the normal Pacha Mama flavourings which makes them taste better than others, but I personally think they should have stuck to their unique flavours.

Geek Vape Geek Bar Disposable Vape
The Geek Bar is just behind Elf Bar in its popularity, despite the device being larger and having less puffs, the massive choice of flavours is clearly what makes it a good choice for some people. Most Disposable vapes have on average a lifespan of 600 puffs, but the Geek Bar has an average of 575. It has a 500mAh battery on the device and still contains 2ml of E Liquid just like the majority of Disposable Vapes.
There are 25 different flavours to choose from in the Geek Bar range and you also have the option to choose which Nicotine strength you prefer; it comes in both 10mg and 20mg strength which is great because it means people who have recently quit smoking can discover what works better for them. Alongside the 25 flavours of their own, they have also teamed up with Vampire Vapes which means we have 10 further flavours to choose from and we can now fully enjoy the maximum taste of Heisenberg.
Personally, I am not a fan of the device itself, not because it doesn’t perform well, I just don’t like the plastic feel to it and the size. It’s not uncomfortable to hold in your hand, it fits well in your closed hand. I love the wide range of flavours and there’s not really any I don’t like, some of my personal favourites would have to be Green Mango, Kiwi Passion fruit and Guava Ice and I found the flavour is consistent throughout.

Elf Bar 600 Disposable Vape
Elf Bar 600 is the most known disposable vape and despite all the competition, they remain to be the most popular. Elf is a fairly new vaping company; they were formed in 2018 but they have made a name for themselves by providing us with amazing devices and flavours. Due to their success, Elf have decided to keep adding flavours to their range and we have a grand total of 32 different flavours to choose from. They all come in 20mg of salt nicotine and some of the range is available in 0mg. 0mg is the same as no nicotine so if you’re looking at quitting vaping, this could help you wean yourself off nicotine.
The Elf Bar devices design is one of my favourites, it is slim, sleek and feels great to use. Each device is colour coded, but they also have the name of the device written on the side. I think this should happen with all devices but unfortunately some of them don’t. I personally like to carry a few different flavours at a time so I can have a choice when I’m out and it’s easy being able to read what flavour it is.
The flavour is very consistent from start to finish which is important, there are some disposables which taste great to begin with but towards the end they lose their magical taste. The vapour production is pretty good too. The Elf Bar is advertised to have approximately 600 puffs and I feel this is pretty accurate, I found that even when the device has run out, if you keep it and try it again an hour later, you can still manage to get a couple of puffs out of it, you can repeat this a few times. This does happen with many different disposable vapes too, so don’t be too hasty to dispose of your vape device.

Elux Bar 600 Disposable Vape
I’ve purposely wanted to talk about the Elux Bar 600 straight after the Elf Bar 600 because they are basically identical, other than the logo and text on the side of the device, you can’t tell many other differences between them. In our Elux Bar Review, I did also mention that the LED light that indicates when the device is in use, is slightly different, so is the air flow. None of these minor differences in my opinion affect the performance of the device.
One of the things that is keeping Elf Bar successful is the wide range of flavours, Elux are only slightly behind Elf, but the Elux Bar 600 has a total of 29 different flavours. The flavours are just as delicious and most of them are the same, if you try and compare them, you may find they are slightly dissimilar but not by much.
Performance of the Elux Bar 600 is also pretty good, it has a decent amount of vapour production, and the flavours are strong and consistent. There are really not many differences between the two others than the Elux Bar being slightly cheaper.

Elux Legend Mini Disposable Vape
Although Elux was only formed in 2021, they are certainly making a name for themselves. They have managed to establish themselves as one of the major players in the industry by solely focusing on disposable vapes, this enables them to create some of the best disposable vapes with some truly amazing flavours which are perfect for new starters and experienced vapers.
Following on from the successful Elux 600, we are blessed with the Elux Legend. This new addition has a brand-new design which is very different to the 600 series but I'm liking the uniqueness of this one. The Elux Legend has a rectangular column body which feels just as natural in your hand, and it still has the matte finish which is soft to the touch and still provides plenty of grip.
The mouthpiece alone makes this device one of my favourites, it has a unique circular yet tapered design which I would describe as a perfect fit when using. For those that like to try different disposables, you'll notice how different some of them feels and let's face it, comfort plays a big factor when vaping. Just like other disposable vapes, the colour of the device differs depending on the flavour, though for those colour-blind people like me, the flavour name is also printed on the side of the device, so there's no worries about not knowing what flavour you have.

Elf Bar Shisha MC600 Disposable Vape
The Elf Bar is one of the most popular Disposables on the market, but we shouldn't forget about the Elf Bar Shisha. The Elf Shisha device is a design we have never seen before, they have decided to spice things up by creating a slim elongated milk carton design. It has the same matte finish as the Elf Bar, it still fits well in your hand, but I do prefer cylindrical devices with rounded edges as it feels more natural to hold in your hand.
Unfortunately, there is not as many flavours in this range than what there is in the Elf Bar 600 but we do have some new unique flavours. This range is based on Shisha flavouring and although most of the fruit concentrates are the same, they have been adjusted to create a distinctive shisha effect. There are a total of 12 different flavours to choose from with the majority being well known favourites in the shisha industry, one of the most unique flavours I've had in a disposable vape is Elf Bars shisha cheesecake.

Lost Mary BM600 Disposable Vape
The Lost Mary is another disposable vape by Elf but this time they’ve gone with a unique design. Most people who use disposable vapes love how slim and discreet they are and although the Elf Bar 600 easily slides into your pocket, Elf wanted to create a disposable one even smaller. The Lost Mary is incredibly compact and super lightweight. It’s so small that it can be hidden inside of a closed palm. I feel like these are maybe designed so that they can easily fit into your shirt pocket without the end sticking out.
The Lost Mary comes in 24 different flavours and although most of them are the same flavours found in the Elf Bar 600 range, there are a couple of new ones to choose from. I was excited to give Triple Melon a try and I am not disappointed. The overall performance of the Lost Mary is good, I found there is more vapour production with this one, which I was shocked at due to how small it is, but size isn’t everything I suppose.
Both the Lost Mary and the Elf Bar have a 550 mAh battery, both contain 2ml of E Liquid so in theory there shouldn’t be any difference in the performance. I like how compact the Lost Mary is, but I feel at some point I may end up losing it, so that’s the only potential negative I have about it. I’m hoping they decide to make more flavours available in the Lost Mary range.

Nasty Juice Airfix Disposable Vape
If you’ve not heard of Nasty Juice before, I’m very sorry. Nasty Juice is an award-winning E Liquid brand that was founded in 2015, they specialise in using Malaysian fruit flavourings, but they also have some of the best Tobacco E liquids around.
The Nasty Juice Air fix stands out from the others once you experience it. It has the usual design that you see with many other Disposable vapes but there’s two main features that make it an upgrade. There are 13 different flavours to choose from, but you can also pick your desired nicotine strength too, they come in either 10mg or 20mg of salt nicotine E Liquid.
I prefer the overall design of the Nasty Juice Air Fix compared to the Nasty Juice Fix, this one feels more comfortable and natural to hold in the hand and I personally think the mouthpiece is the best design I’ve experienced with a disposable.
So, what makes this disposable stand out? Many ‘normal’ vapes give users the ability to adjust the air flow which ultimately changes your vaping experience, unfortunately disposable vapes don’t have this option, but that’s not the case for the Air Fix. Nasty Juice wanted users to have a similar experience and that’s why they have invested in creating an adjustable airflow at the bottom of the device, so now you can choose what’s best for you.
The second improvement is the battery life on the device, although mostly all disposables have a 2ml capacity of E Liquid, unfortunately sometimes the device may run out before your favourite juice has finished, it doesn’t happen often, but it can happen. Now you don’t have to worry about that. The Nasty Juice Air Fix has a 700mAh battery which results in an approximate Lifespan of 675 puffs!

SKE Crystal Bar Disposable Vape
The SKE Crystal is the newest disposable vape that has been added to Jumponthevape and its popularity is growing quickly. Initially when I first saw the images for the SKE Crystal Bar, I didn't hold out much hope for it. The images gave me the impression it was cheaply made and it reminded me of a highlighter pen but I was incredibly wrong about it. The SKE Crystal has a charismatic shape and unique design to make this feel like a premium disposable device.
The outer casing of the device is a clean crystal plastic and within this is a round tube which contains the inner workings of the disposable. The tube is wrapped in a metallic foil with a gradient colouring depending on the flavour. Most disposables are colour coded but I like that SKE has put a new spin on it. The outer plastic casing is an odd shape, it is square-like but has curved edges which sits comfortably in your hand much better than other square devices. The airflow is at the bottom of the device where the LED light is located too. When inhaling, the LED light illuminates the clear crystal casing which is a very cool feature.
The SKE Crystal has 2ml of E-Liquid which contains 2% (20mg) nic-salt that provides us with a very smooth and incredible vaping experience. I was very surprised with the wide choice of flavours too with an amazing choice of 36 different flavours, this is possibly the largest selection I've seen for a disposable. I haven't tried all of the flavours yet and I look forward to doing a full review on this but so far I have tried 10 of the flavours and I am blown away. These are some of the best tasting flavours I've ever had and my favourite so far is Lemon and Lime as well as Fresh Menthol Mojito.
This device not only boasts a massive range of flavours but it is also one of the first mesh coil disposables on the market. It supports MTL vaping and has a 1.2ohm mesh coil, combining all these features it gives us one of the best vaping experiences around for a disposable.

How to Use Disposable Devices?
Some of you might be looking at quitting smoking and are unsure whether disposables are for you, the number of options for vaping may be quite daunting and that’s why we want to break down how easy disposable vapes are.
Disposable vapes are the simplest of vape devices out there, they are designed for one time use with no maintenance required. There are no buttons, settings, charging, refilling or coil transfer needed. How to use a disposable is so simple we’ve broken it down into a few simple steps.
Remove all packaging and plugs. Disposable vapes often come sealed in either a plastic or foil packaging which is then encased in a cardboard packaging box just like most items. Once you’ve removed it from the box and sealed bag, you will see there are rubber or silicone plugs in the mouthpiece and often also covering the airflow. Simply remove all of these before trying to use them.
Storing your device. Storing your device in a clean place is very important. The tiny manual that comes with your device will tell you how to safely store your disposable and it is always recommended to spend the two minutes reading the manual. When using your disposable, you also want to try and keep your device in a clean place to prevent any dirt and debris from getting inside the mouthpiece. Pocket sand appears all the time and you don’t want this getting inside your device and ruining your vaping experience.
Discarding your disposable vape. Just because your device is called disposable, this doesn’t mean you can simply throw it in a bin or on the floor. In the past year, disposables have become very popular and unfortunately, we’re seeing more and more waste disposables on our streets. Disposables still contain a lithium battery inside and these need to be disposed of properly and safely. The manuals that come within the packaging of the device advises how to dispose of the devices properly.
How many puffs per device. Each device gives an estimated puff count that you can expect from it. Typically, this is 600 puffs, but this doesn’t mean you will get 600 puffs from each device. Disposable vape manufacturers use a machine based on a presumed puff duration. The puff duration can change depending on each manufacturer. How many puffs you get from your device is largely dependent on how long and hard your inhale is. Though you will find that some devices can perform better than others and as I mentioned earlier on, even when your device flashes to say it has run out of battery by leaving it and returning to it later on you will find there’s still some more juice and power.
