They are well known for their starter kits and advanced kits but they are now catering to a larger crowd now with their Disposable vape kits, the Geek Bar. We have recently reviewed the Geek Bar Lite and we can see how popular both these versions have become. Disposable Vape devices like the Geek Bar is a great starter device for anyone who is looking at making the move away from smoking. With no settings, no need to refill or recharging, they are a very simple vape kit that helps people quit smoking. Disposables aren't just for new starters though, they make for a great backup device just in case you run out of battery when you're on the go. Many people tend to keep a disposable vape in their bag just in case. They have also recently become very popular for a night out on the town.

Geek Bar Appearance & Design
The Geek Bar is nicely packaged in their own box which states the flavour and nicotine strength. and within they are packaged in a sealed plastic bag to help keep debris out, protecting it from any foreign objects. You will also get a manual on how to use it, although disposables are very easy to use as all you need to do is inhale, we still recommend reading over the safety section to be on the safe side. It does also state in the manual that it ''may also contain traces of nuts''.
Each device is coloured depending on what flavour you choose but they all have the 'GEEK BAR' graphic printed underneath the plastic outer. They're all colourful and have a diamond pattern on the device. Personally I think the plastic used for the device does look a bit cheap but that's quite understandable for disposable vapes, the build however is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. Some companies do prefer to go for a modern sophisticated look and use food-grade stainless steel but I feel that it's a bit of a waste when the device is going to be disposed of when it's finished. But the plastic used is FDA certified food grade plastic. It's also a bit of a shame throwing away a sleek looking device, so for the Geek Bar, I'm not too bothered about the material.
The device is a decent size, it fits nicely in your hand and is easy to use, one of the things I do love with disposables are the size of them. On occasions it's quite nice not having to carry round a big chunky vape kit. If you're heading for a night out, they're a great choice.

One of the most noticeable differences between the Geek Bar and the Geek Bar Lite is the range of flavours. The Geek Bar Lite has a great tasting range of 10 flavours but incredibly, the Geek Bar boasts an impressive 20 flavours!
Geek Bar Banana Ice
A perfect flavour for anyone who enjoys the taste of rich and creamy banana. Within the delicious taste of sweet banana you'll find a fresh blast of cool refreshing menthol which creates an icy effect

Geek Bar Performance
The Geek Bar Lite version has a 350 mAH battery but the Geek Bar boasts an incredible 500 mAH battery that allows roughly 575 puffs per device. The battery power has been carefully calculated to last the duration of the E Liquid in the device. Rigorous lab testing has shown that 575 puffs are the maximum you can get from the Geek Bar when inhaling for 1.5 seconds, though this can change depending on your style of vaping. Another reminder is that you can't recharge disposable vapes. Once the E Liquid has run out, the device will become obsolete and they can be disposed of. Most supermarkets contain a battery recycling bin for batteries and we would recommend disposing of them there, we do not recommend trying to take the device apart, please refer to the devices manual and safety instructions.
Due to Geek Bar sticking with the trend and pre-filling the disposables with Salt Nicotine E Liquids, you'll get a smooth tasting vape with a good strong throat hit. In recent years, Salt Nicotine is a preferred alternative to Freebase nicotine. Nicotine salt is the natural state that nicotine is in tobacco leaves and it has lower alkalinity due to the Benzoic acid which results in you getting a smoother throat hit on a higher dosage of nicotine than you could with Freebase Nicotine.
Nicotine salts are the perfect choice for MTL vapers (Mouth To Lung) due to you being able to vape E Liquids at a higher nicotine level without a harsh throat hit, you're able to get the nicotine your body is craving. Salt E Liquids are a personal favourite and the wide range of flavours means that you know there will always be a flavour you like.
Like other Disposables, the Geek Barr has a smart auto-fire system that works as soon as you inhale. The auto-fire sensor is triggered when it senses a draw/ inhale. One of the reasons why Disposable vapes are so successful is due to there being no settings to adjust. Smokers can easily become ex-smokers with these simple yet effective vape devices, especially as it's more of a natural ''pull'' on them like smoking.
The airflow inlet is on the base of the device and it's important not to cover this. If the airflow inlet is covered then the devices auto fire system won't work because the sensor will not detect an inhale
Geek Bar has a fixed airflow inlet at the base of the device and also has a LED when the inhale activates the internal fire system, though we found it a bit difficult to see this when using.
We found that these can easily last for the whole day though this will obviously vary depending on your vaping style. After trying these for a couple of days we found them pretty consistent, though we were not counting each individual puff, we are taking the word of the professionals on this.
Final Thoughts
We previously reviewed the Geek Bar Lite and we're glad we did that version first. This Geek Bar in our opinion is the better option to go with for a couple of reasons. Firstly this has a larger capacity and is designed for 575 puffs. Secondly, this Geek Bar has a much larger range of flavours to choose from. Just like the Geek Bar Lite, the flavours taste great and the taste itself is consistent throughout till the E Liquid runs out.
The device is very simple to use and the build quality is pretty sturdy, as it did survive a few accidental drops and still managed to function without any problems. It feels comfortable in your hand and the mouthpiece is the right size and doesn't feel odd when inhaling.
The Geek Bar is a great shout for anyone wanting to start vaping and quitting smoking but we do not recommend the Geek Bar or any other disposable vape to be a long term device. Even though disposable vapes are recyclable, it's still a lot of waste material and we should all be looking out for the environment. So we would recommend using them on a temporary basis and if you find that these are working for you, you should take a look at some of our vape starter kits that are more permanent devices, in the long run, this will also work out beneficial for you.
The Geek Bar is also a good piece of kit for using if you're on a night out. The Salt Nic E Liquid is 20mg so it helps to give your body that extra nicotine hit that you may crave on a night out.
