Aegis L200 Legend 2 Appearance & Design
One of the boasted Features of the Aegis Legend 2 is the size, it is noticeably smaller and lighter which is great to hear, it’s 30% Lighter and 15% smaller which makes the Legend 2 a lot more comfortable to use as it sits better in your hand. It does have some similar design features with it’s iconic alloy metal and leather, we love that Geekvape has kept this style of design. Though one thing we did notice was that the Aegis Legend 2 doesn’t have the dust magnet rubber, which is another reason why this version is smaller than the original.
1.08 Inch TFT Colour Full Screen
The Aegis Legend 2 now comes with a large TFT colour screen to help provide a better vaping experience. It’s predecessor The Aegis Legend had a 0.91-inch OLED screen display. Fun fact with this device, to change the colour of the display all you need to do is press the fire button three times and then press both the plus (+) and minus (-) button at the same time. You can repeat this until you get the colour of your choosing.
The A-Lock
This is a feature that I would happily applaud, The new A-Lock feature protects the device from having an accidental press on the button. This is a great safety feature added and it also protects your coils from being over burnt by accidental pocket vaping. We’ve all been there, suddenly feeling your leg getting warm and realising you’ve accidentally set your vape device off in your pocket. Using the new 1.08 inch screen, simply swipe up to use and swipe down to lock. This is a good enough reason to swipe right for this vape kit.
New Tri-Proof
The Aegis Legend 2 had the first generation of Geekvape Tri Proof technology which was rated IP67, this has now been upgraded to IP68 rated for water, dust and shock resistance. For many like me this is an important feature, dropping your device is often a regular occurrence and having a device which is built to be more durable helps to give a better peace of mind. Being able to vape in different weather conditions is also an added benefit, without having to worry about water damage being caused to your device.
Available Colours for the Aegis Legend 2
One thing we all love when it comes to shopping for a new vape kit is picking the right colour. Geekvape brings us 7 amazing colours for us to choose from. The metal casing is coloured along with the leather too. A personal favourite from this collection would have to be their Navy Blue Version.
- Silver
- Grey
- Black
- Navy Blue
- Red
- Rainbow
- Classic Black
Wide Working Temperature Range
Being able to use your device in different temperatures is also very important, this is why it doesn’t matter what conditions the Aegis Legend 2 is exposed to, it will continue to work, With a smart temperature range from down to -20°C or up to 50 °C, you won’t have any problems.
Battery & Charging
On most vape devices the charging port is nearly always exposed and this is always a bit of a downfall because dust and debris builds up inside and it is not particularly easy to clean. This is why the Aegis Legend 2 now comes with a rubber flap which firmly sits covering the port. The port is a C charging port and this is also used for software updates.
Like many vape devices, the Legend 2 has a dual 18650 battery requirement and at the bottom of the vape device is the battery door, to open you do need to add a little force to push and slide the latch into position. Not sure whether this is a slight design floor or if it was purposely built this was to help prevent batteries falling out. On the inside of the door you can easily see the battery connections and it has a nice gold plate to help improve conductivity.
Buttons and Functions
There is a wide range of settings and functions to play about with and rather than struggle to figure it out by guessing, we’ve got a nice easy guide here for you.
The adjustments for the device are as follows:
- Five clicks of the fire button turn the device on/off
- Three clicks of the fire button to enter settings mode
- One click of the fire button in settings mode moves the cursor to select parameters
- Up and down to change parameters
- Long press the fire button to exit settings mode
- Up and down to change wattage or temperature
- Up and down at the same time to lock the screen
- Fire and down at the same time to decrease brightness
- Fire and up at the same time to increase brightness
- Fire and up and down at the same time for stealth
- Three clicks of the fire button then hold both up and down to change colour
GeekVape Z sub Ohm 2021 Tank
Moving on to the GeekVape Z sub ohm 2021 Tank. Over the past few years the amount of sub ohm vapers have increased rapidly and that leads to a larger variety of sub ohm tanks being designed and produced. The GeekVape Z Sub Ohm tank is a fairly large sized tank overall but the capacity within is 2ml which is TPD compliant and it looks smooth and of great quality. The tank comes with a wide-bore 810 drip tip which is very comfortable to use and it fits in perfectly with the aesthetics of the tank.
Airflow
The airflow on this tank is a lot different to your usual airflows. The GeekVape Z sub ohm has a combination of both Direct top airflow and top-to-bottom airflow. This allows for an impressive burst of both vapour and flavour. The airflow is directed down towards your desired Geekvape Coils and which results in more control over the flavour. If you want to enjoy your favourite vape juice then you should enjoy it in one of the best sub ohm tanks 2021.
Top Fill
We all want the best vape tank and with that we also want the easiest, Geekvape have made sure that the Z sub ohm tank comes with an easy to up system. To refill your tank this can be done at the top, simply unscrew the top flap slightly, revealing the fill ports. It’s important to have an easy top fill system in place as refiling on the go can be a bit of a handful with some devices. The top fill placement also helps to minimize any liquid spills.
GeekVape Coils
Just like other tasks with this tank, replacing coils is a breeze and a very quick thing to do. The sub ohm tank has an easy built in quick slide coil design which allows for a quick coil replacement. Simply push one in the bottom and it is sealed in place via its rubber stoppers. There’s no need to twist and shout with this job, just pull one out and then push a new one in.
The most important question everyone has for this tank is, What coils are compatible with the Geekvape Z sub ohm tank? The Geekvape Zeus Sub Ohm tank is already considered one of the best sub ohm tanks and is an excellent performer no matter which of the provided coils you use.
Mesh coil tanks are the new craze and for very good reason, if you're searching for the best possible vapin experience then this is what you need. The problem with some mesh coils is they take ages to wick, they burn out too quickly, with Geekvape mesh coils this is the complete opposite. The GeekVape Zeus’ mesh coils prime super-quick, so you can start vaping quicker but it's always best to be overly cautious.
Final Thoughts
The Geekvape Aegis Legend 2 is clearly an impressive upgrade from its predecessor, the build quality I cannot fault. I love that they’ve tried to stay with the same design but also managed to make it look more sleek. The new Geekvape Tri Proof technology is more of a reassurance that the device can handle more, though this shouldn’t mean you should be careless.
It’s a good sturdy device that gives you a very satisfying vaping experience and once again, I have to say the build quality is brilliant. We’ve had no issues with leaks on the Z sub ohm tank, which is always good news.

I dunno if its Me or whaat, but the flavor abit tone down on this device compare to Drag 3 (using same RDA & watt). Still the firing karacteristic in Aegis L2 is nice.
