Voopoo Argus X Vape Kit Review

Today we are taking a look at the Argus X vape kit by Voopoo, it’s another addition to the Argus family. The Argus X follows the Argus Pro, Argus GT, and Argus Air. The Argus X gadget includes a single external battery just like the Argus Pro. Voopoo is a vaping hardware manufacturer that was established in 2014 and has become a trusted and much-respected company within the vaping industry. Their aim is to provide high-quality vaping products at an affordable price.

So let’s get straight into this kit and have a look at what it has to offer.

Appearance and Design

The Argus comes in 5 different colours/ designs which we will go over shortly. The metal used for this pod vape kit is very durable and incredibly comfortable to use. I personally like the feel of it in your hand, the curved surfaces are clearly designed to sit nicely in your hand. It has a sleep stylish look to it and is a lightweight kit.

In case you haven’t noticed from the images of the devices, there is a metal bar next to the pod on the device. This is supposed to be a hook so that you can attach it to something. I suppose the thought process behind this is so you can use a carabiner clip to keep your device on your bag? Not something that I would personally use as I usually keep my devices in a pocket where I know it would be safe.

Voopoo Argus X Pods

Within the Voopoo Argus X vape kit you will get the PnP Pod tank, this pod is great for DL vaping (Direct Lung Vaping) as it provides a large vapour production. Like with other pod vape kits, you can also buy replacement pods, so if your one does get damaged, you can simply replace it.

For those that prefer MT vaping (Mouth to Lung Vaping) you can get different pods that will allow this. The PnP MTL pod is sold separately.

How to fill the Argus X?

Both pods are removable from the device, they are connected to the device by powerful magnets. To refill your pod with your favourite vape juice you simply remove the pod from the device, flip it upside down, pull the rubber plug back and fill. Once finished, ensure you firmly push the plug back in to prevent any leaks.

The last benefit I’ll mention about the pods is that they are compatible with a huge range of PnP coils

Voopoo Argus X Coils

With the kit you are provided with 2 different coils, the PnP-VM6 (0.15ohm) and the PnP-VM1 (0.3ohm) coils but there are many different replacement coils to choose from. As I mentioned there is a huge range of coils that are compatible with the Argus X kit, 12 in total.

Argus X Performance

The Voopoo Argus X uses a new age GENE.TT Chip, this chip can rapidly fire the device within 0.001 seconds. It also has a smart and rba mode and provide a 5-80 watt power output.  The Smart mode automatically sets the power output that is best for the inserted coil. The RBA mode allows users to modify your inclinations and completely control the resistance and wattage. As there is a wide range of coils that can be used with this device, you can appreciate all the different vaping styles.

The device presents us with a 0.96 screen which displays all your vaping stats and running modes.

The device has a good simplistic design with the adjustable airflow, simply slide the switch to your desired draw. If you’re a mouth to lung vape, close the airflow leaving only a small hole showing.

Final thoughts

Overall I love the design of the device though personally I don’t think the carrying hook is necessarily. I like the different colours you can get with this but I would say the Litchi Leather & red was my favourite.

I like the Argus X, it’s a sturdy device, I found it provides great flavours and cloud production. It's a light pod kit and it has a great feel when using it. Refilling is very simple. I’m definitely going to be using the Voopoo Argus X more often.
